Welcome to Stamford Public Schools Summer School 2025! Our program offers engaging and structured learning opportunities for students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Below, you will find all the necessary details regarding schedules, locations, registration, and key deadlines.

PreK (Apples Program)

Pre-K (APPLES Program)

The APPLES Early Childhood Educational Center provides high quality Early Childhood Education to a diverse population of preschool children based on their educational profile. The program enables students with special education needs to learn alongside their general education peers, when appropriate, in a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment.

Dates: June 30 – July 25 (No class on July 4)
- TEAM Program Pre-K & K-5 Dates: June 23 – August 1 (No class on July 4) Time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- ESY Session 1: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- ESY Session 2: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- General Education Session: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Elementary & Middle

Elementary & Middle School

Summer School Program Grades 1-3: Academic support for students entering grades 1 through 3.

Extended School Year (ESY): Available for eligible K-8 students who qualify for specialized summer instruction based on their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Dates: June 30 – July 25 (No class on July 4)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

- Strawberry Hill (K-5): Northeast, Strawberry Hill, Roxbury, Stillmeadow, Hart
- Stark (K-5): Springdale, Stark, Davenport, Newfield
- Rogers (K-8): KT Murphy, Toquam, Westover, Rogers; ESY Non-Specialized programs for Cloonan, Dolan, Rippowam, Scofield, TOR

High School

Summer School Program Grades 9-12: Credit recovery program designed to help students fulfill graduation requirements and stay on track for academic success.

Extended School Year (ESY): Available for eligible 9-12 students who qualify for specialized summer instruction based on their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Dates: June 23 – August 1 (No class on July 4)
ESY Dates: June 30 - July 25 (No class on July 4)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: Westhill High School 125 Roxbury Rd, Stamford, CT 06902
Courses Offered:
- Two in-person courses
- Seniors may take a third course online for additional credit recovery

Specialized Programs (K-12)

Specialized Programs

Stamford Public Schools (SPS) offers a variety of programing and services designed to meet the unique and individual needs of our students. SPS strives to provide appropriate educational programming in the least restricted environment for students ages 3-22 under IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).

STAR (ASD) and CORE Programs

Grades K-6

Dates: June 30 – July 25 (No class on July 4)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Attend at assigned summer site
- Strawberry Hill: Hart, Northeast, Roxbury, Stillmeadow, Strawberry Hill
- Stark: Davenport, Newfield, Springdale, Stark
- Rogers: KT Murphy, Rogers, Toquam, Westover

Grades 6-12

Dates: June 30 – July 25 (No class on July 4)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: Westhill (except Westover)

TEAM Program

Grades K-5

Dates: June 23 – August 1 (No class on July 4)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Apples Rippowam Summer Site

Grades 6-12

Dates: June 23 – August 1 (No class on July 4)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Westhill

Transition Program

Transition Program (Job Readiness)

Available to eligible young adults ages 18-22 with disabilities who have completed their high school academic requirements and require support in developing functional skills in three key transition areas: independent living, employability, and post-secondary education.

Dates: June 30 – July 25
Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Stamford Government Center 3rd Floor
Includes: Job site experiences
