Dear Hart Magnet School Families,
As you know, we have begun Phase II of long distance learning for our students.
As Superintendent Lucero stated in her letter, beginning the week of April 20th, each school will begin to implement a plan that aims to achieve the following goals:
- Promote student well-being and sense of connection with teachers and peers and support the needs of all students and families
- Advance student learning through the use of at-home learning plans and online resources
- Support students and families with at-home learning routines
At Hart Magnet, we understand the challenges that all families face during this unprecedented time. Our teachers have been working diligently to develop pre-recorded and live lessons which meet the needs of our students while being mindful of time, scheduling and content.
On Monday, April 20th, our Kindergarten through Fifth grade teachers will conduct live classroom meetings to promote student well- being and a sense of connection. As we develop our plan throughout the coming weeks, you will see that we will be phasing in our specialists and intervention teachers at various times throughout the grade level schedule.
All Kindergarten through fifth grade teachers will communicate with families so please check for news from your teacher.
In the meantime, beginning Monday, April 20th, we hope your child enjoys his or her classroom meeting!
As always, we are here to support in any way we can. Enjoy your weekend!
