SPS Newsflash: Westover Magnet Elementary School Adds Assistant Principal

Principal Lisa Saba-Price is pleased to announce that Kathleen Quaglino is joining the staff at Westover this fall as the school’s second assistant principal.

The position was created as a result of an approved budget addition this year.

“I’m thrilled to have someone the caliber of Ms. Quaglino on our team,” Ms. Saba-Price said. “Her background and experience here in Stamford, and her perspective will be a benefit to our students and staff.”

Quaglino has spent the past six years serving as Assistant Director of Special Education for the Stamford Public Schools. During her career, she has worked in a variety of roles, including as a special education teacher, ABA home program specialist, and as a reading specialist.

Quaglino graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Boston University and earned a Master of Arts in Reading from Southern Connecticut State University, and completed a Sixth Year Certificate in Administration from the University of Bridgeport.
