We recognize our world is changing rapidly. SPS graduates must have the skills to succeed in the 21st century. The High School Call to Action Committee will provide the opportunity for high school teachers, high school students, building and district administrators, parents, and members of the community to study issues around high school education in Stamford and the United States. The Committee will provide recommendations to the Superintendent of Schools for the Board of Education on steps to raise the achievement of all students and ensure their preparedness for the 21st century.
To raise the bar for all students, accelerate growth for struggling students, elevate the high school experience in the Stamford Public Schools, and insure that all graduates are prepared for the academic, social, technological, economic, and global demands of the 21st century.
