Chartwells Dining Services

Free Meals for All

Dear SPS Students and Families,

Stamford Public Schools (SPS) announced that the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) approved the district’s application to provide FREE breakfast and lunch meals through Chartwells School Dining Services to all SPS students for the remaining months of 2020, as federal funding for this program allows. This approval is the result of the district’s application to the CSDE for an extension of the Summer Food Service Program, in an effort to continue providing access to nutritious meals to children in need, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
