Alternate Routes to Success (ARTS) is a 9 – 12 grade alternative education program which strives to meet each student’s unique academic, social, and emotional needs where each student is individually empowered and inspired to reach his or her full potential for post- secondary success.

What We OfferWhat We Do

As an alternative education program, it is our mission to meet the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of all students through project-based learning that connects students’ lives to their future in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment in order to empower and inspire all students for college and career readiness.

In doing so, ARTS sets high expectations, provides choice and maintains small class size. High expectations are set for all students and staff to take an active role in building a safe learning environment and positive relationships through Restorative Practices. Academic expectations are set high through Project-Based learning where students are provided with choice and engage in deep, real-world learning. The small class size allows teachers to give students more individual attention and tailor lessons specific to students’ needs. Essentially, the small class size allows for greater connectedness between staff and students to create safety enhance learning and build community.
The ARTS is committed to the success of each individual learner.
