Quarterly Assessments - High School

High School students are evaluated throughout the school year in every course.  Common summative assessments are administered in key subject areas, including English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.

A summative assessment evaluates student learning, knowledge, and proficiency at the end of an instructional period, such as a unit, course, or program.

A performance task is a learning activity or assessment where students demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and skills by applying them in a real-world or contextual situation.

In addition to the common assessments below, individual courses gauge student learning through various assessments administered throughout the course. Please get in touch with your student's teacher to discuss questions or concerns regarding student performance or evaluation within a specific course.
