SPS Recognizes 24 Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program Graduates

Stamford Public Schools is thrilled to congratulate the inaugural graduating class of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program at Westhill High School (WHS).  A ceremony hosted earlier this week recognized the 24 members of the CNA Class of 2026:

CNA is offered at Westhill High School through a partnership between Stamford Public Schools and Excel Academy.  

“Students in the healthcare pathway complete all coursework for CNA certification during high school, including clinical hours,”explained Camille M. Quattrocchi, District Content Leader for Health & Physical Education. “The students graduating from this comprehensive program are equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide quality health care to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, or clients in their own homes.” 

CNA is one of the offerings in the Stamford Public Schools Career Pathways Program. The Career Pathways Program at Westhill High School and Stamford High School introduces students to more than a dozen high-demand fields, including healthcare, public safety, construction management, information technology, and education.
