Make Your Voice Heard: Superintendent Search

Dear Stamford Community: 

Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. 

As you know, the Stamford Board of Education is partnering with Zeal Education Group to lead the search for the next Superintendent of Schools. One of the most important parts of this process is hearing directly from stakeholders, including teachers, staff, parents, students, and the community. Stakeholder input will help Zeal develop a Leadership Profile that reflects the values, priorities, and aspirations of the Stamford community. The Leadership Profile will guide both the recruitment of strong candidates and the evaluation of their fit with the district.

This week, Zeal is meeting with elected BOE members, union representatives, and members of the district’s senior leadership team. Beginning on Monday, January 12, Zeal will host multiple opportunities for all stakeholders to share their perspectives, including both in person and virtually. The BOE encourages everyone to participate in a Superintendent Search Input Session. As a courtesy to the search firm conducting these sessions, please register to let us know which session you will attend and if you need interpretation services.
