AITE Student, Darwin Anariba, was honored as a Finalist in the School Gear Swag Design Challenge!
Earlier today student's at Stamford's Academy of Information Technology & Engineering attended a meet and greet and award ceremony, featuring Norm Goldstein, CEO of EduNetwork Partners, representing HIT Promotional Products. AITE Senior, Darwin Anariba, innovative design "The Table Bag" was selected as a finalist in the National School Gear Swag Design Challenge sponsored by Hit Promotional Products/EduNetwork Partners.
In December, AITE entrepreneur teacher, Florina Merturi, used the Swag Gear Design Challenge as a real-world design challenge -- to create a better backpack, multi-purpose lunchbox, or cross-body bag. Students conducted market research, made detailed changes to their ideas, and designed the prototype of their creation. Following the award, Darwin will participate in an upcoming Hit Promotional Products Think Tank with the other finalists.
