The College Board recently announced that AITE has been named to the 2025 Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning SILVER distinction.

The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening participation. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.

AITE had 61% of 141 seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 43% who scored a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 15% who took five or more AP Exams!

“This Silver recognition on the College Board AP School Honor Roll Progress Report is a reflection of our collective commitment to expanding access to rigorous coursework while ensuring students are supported to succeed,” said Principal Tina Rivera. “It affirms the intentional work of our students, educators, and families to create a school culture where high expectations and opportunity go hand in hand. We are proud of this milestone and remain focused on continuing to grow both access and achievement in Advanced Placement courses.”

Launched in 2023, the AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening participation. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.
