29 Students in SPS Class of 2026 Complete Stamford Regional Agriscience Program at Westhill
Stamford Public Schools is pleased to announce that 29 high school seniors have successfully completed the Stamford Regional Agriscience Program at Westhill High School.
The Stamford Regional Agriscience Program is one of 21 Regional Agriscience Programs in the State of Connecticut providing students with hands-on, career-focused training in agriculture, food systems, natural resources management, and more.
During the 2025-26 school year, 136 students in grades 9-12 were enrolled in Stamford Agriscience.
Students from Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich, Darien, New, Canaan, Weston, and Ridgefield are eligible to apply to the Stamford Regional Agriscience Program. The rigorous, highly-competitive 4-year program combines classroom instruction, laboratory/field experience, work-based learning, guest speakers, leadership development and career exploration to prepare students for career success.
Graduating Agriscience students will be honored during the annual Stamford Regional FFA Banquet on Thursday, June 4 at 6 pm at Westhill High School. The students will receive their high school diplomas during the Westhill High School graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 17 at 5 pm at Walter J. Kennedy Stadium.
