To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents for whom we have e-mail addresses at the requested schools and posted online. Follow these steps:

1. Register as a Program Provider at www.peachjar.com (or log in, if you are already registered)
2. Go to "My Account"
3. Click on "Send a Flyer"
4. Select desired schools

Your flyer will automatically be submitted to the SPS Office of Public Affairs for approval or denial, based on SPS Board Policy 1140 and Regulation 1140R. If approved it will be posted online and e-mailed to parents.

All organizations who wish to distribute flyers to Stamford Public Schools families must submit flyer requests electronically and may be required to pay a per-school fee for distribution of the flyer to the vendor (Peachjar). The fee charged will depend upon the type of organization or event that they are promoting and goes directly to the vendor. If the organization is a 501C3, and the event they are promoting is free, then there will be no charge to post the flyer. Some organizations may also choose to send a limited number of paper flyers to each school for families who do not have Internet access, but electronic approval will have to be received in advance. You must register at www.peachjar.com to request flyer approval.

In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, to utilize innovative technology and to reach more families directly, beginning in December 2016, the Stamford Public Schools (SPS) will utilize an electronic flyer delivery vendor. The Stamford Public Schools annual "Report Card" from the CT State Department of Education can be found under the "About Us" tab of our website.  Additional information can be found in our Annual Report to the Community (issued in September). 

Student performance data are presented and discussed on a regular basis at both BOE committee meetings and the regular monthly meetings. School and grade-level data are also used by our teachers and administrators to inform instruction and identify trends in student learning. Presentations made to the BOE are posted online along with videos of each meeting. 
 

There are a variety of ways to participate in a school tour:

• Magnet Schools host tours between November and February.
• You may also call a school directly to arrange a tour. Call the school's main number provided in the Schools' Profile, under the "School" menu at the top of this page.
