SHS Celebrates Black History Month

Stamford High School continued its month-long celebration by highlighting a number of whole school events where students and adults can participate in numerous ways.  Some of our featured events include:

  • HBCU (Historically Black College and University) Door Decoration Challenge!
    • Classroom and Office doors decorated to reflect an HBCU institution.
  • HBCU “Shirt Day”: SHS Staff and Students to wear (purchase online or design your own) HBCU institutions.
  • “HBCU DAY” where featured panelists of HBCU graduates will meet and discuss their experiences with our students!

Thank you to Assistant Principal Crystal Perry-Holden, Gina Figliuzzi, SHS Staff, and student volunteers for an awesome day of activities and whole school celebration of these great universities!
