Substituting at Stamford Public Schools

    • Substitute Teachers with Stamford Public Schools receive $115.00 a day for regular substitute assignments.  Substitute Teachers at APPLES and Long-Term Substitutes are compensated at a higher daily rate.

Per Public Act 19-4, CT's minimum wage is required to be adjusted each year based on the U.S. Department of Labor’s calculation of the employment cost index for the twelve-month period ending on June 30 of the preceding year.  Changes are announced by October 15th annually and take effect on January 1 of the following year.
