  • DayForce (Employee Self-Service): Use this for viewing paystubs, tax statements, and updating your contact/direct deposit information. Note: Updating your contact information here also updates your insurance records.  Login to DayForce

  • Direct Deposit: For new staff and recent enrollees, your first check will be mailed to your home address.

Enrollment & Life Changes

  • New Hires: You must notify the Benefits Office by September 18 if you wish to enroll in health insurance, optional life insurance, or FSA.

  • Open Enrollment: Occurs November 2 – November 10.

  • Qualified Life Events: You may only change benefit elections during the school year if a Qualified Life Event occurs.

    • Note: Failure to notify the office within 30 days of a divorce makes you responsible for all medical costs incurred.

Pay Plan Details

Teachers:

  1. Verify you are on the correct pay plan.

  2. Confirm your pay amount: Gross pay per period × your pay plan (21 or 26 checks). Note: Your first check may not show the annual salary update; this will appear on the next check.

  3. SEA Union Dues: Deducted over 9 months (September–May) in the second paycheck of the month.

Paraeducators and Security Guards:

  1. Verify your salary based on your current contract.

  2. If you have questions regarding your pay, please email Yves Lafleur.

Health Insurance

Site of Service (SOS) Providers:

These are community-based labs, radiology, and imaging centers. Using an SOS provider covers 100% of the cost for these services.

  • In-network (Non-SOS): 20% cost.

  • Out-of-network: 40% cost.

Health Enhancement Program (HEP):

All individuals covered under the State Partnership Plan must complete age-appropriate wellness exams and screenings.

  • Non-compliance: If any family member on the Anthem plan fails to comply, you will face a premium increase ($100/month/household) and an in-network deductible of $350 per person (up to $1400 per family).

  • Additional Impact: Non-compliance means the loss of waived copays for chronic conditions and higher medication costs.
