Pathway Summary:
The Culinary Pathway gives the students an opportunity to learn the basics of professional restaurant food production and hospitality through project-based food practicums. The daily living and career benefits of developing culinary skills are emphasized. Students are exposed to advanced culinary techniques, restaurant equipment, and operating procedures of restaurants and Institutions. Students are offered the opportunity to compete regionally and nationally. Upon completion of the Pro-Start program students are able to earn college scholarships and 3 credits at Norwalk Community College.
