Summer Camp in Greenwich

ESF Summer Camps at Greenwich Catholic School in Greenwich, Connecticut have amazing summer career opportunities for the teachers, staff and students (Juniors & Seniors) at Stamford High School.

 Juniors and Seniors: We have openings for the following positions:

  • Counselors – must be age 18 by start of camp but will hire a limited number at age 17 as well.  

  • Aquatics Staff (lifeguards, swim instructors) – must be age 16 by start of camp

Please note that ESF reimburses hired students for their Lifeguarding certification – which is a 2-year certification and excellent resume credential.

Seeking Assistant Counselor at Camp Playland

Have the Best Summer! Seeking motivated college and high school students to work with children as a camp counselor in a summer day camp setting. This is an extremely fun and rewarding job! Camp Playland is a day camp located in New Canaan, CT for campers ages 3-14.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Counselors must arrive every day ready to work with the children, prepared to be good role  models and to exercise compassion and demonstrate empathy

  • Being part of a team and working together to provide every camper with a positive experience.

  • Establish an environment that creates success for the campers

  • Be certain to put the campers’ best interests  first

Hiring for a 7 week summer, June 26th- August 11th, Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm.

The ideal candidate is a loving, nurturing, patient and responsible role model who enjoys being outdoors, having fun and is a kid at heart!

Lunch provided, transportation available. Fun team environment and inviting community - lots of camp spirit! Activities including swimming, athletics, archery, arts, science, ropes courses, theater, music, boating, fishing, go-karts and more!

Salary: $315.00 - $490.00 per week, plus BONUS pay
