Stamford Students Experience Manufacturing Up-close

A group of more than 70 Westhill and Stamford High School students took part in Housatonic Community College's Manufacturing Day on October 7th. Students got to explore the college's advanced manufacturing facility and also was able to hear from many local manufacturing companies. The number of newly added manufacturing jobs in the U.S. is currently the most it has been in the past 40 years and Stamford students are being exposed early to this rapidly expanding industry.
