Dear AITE Families,

It is hard to believe that I have not seen your children for the 12 weeks that we have been out of the building during distance learning. Fortunately, I was able to see some of you during the drop-off and pick-up of school items which will continue until the end of this week.

Although, we do not know what the beginning of next school year will look like at this time, we are optimistic that we will be able to return to the building as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.  You will receive more information on this as well as your summer mailing in August.  Please make sure we have your current address and email, so you do not miss any important information.

I am very proud of how everyone dealt with the challenges of distance learning this year.  In spite of these challenges, many students were still successful and some even earned awards during this time.  Here is the link to our last award ceremony of this school year: Our annual Senior Scholarship Awards Ceremony.

You can find this link and links to our previous award ceremonies for this year under the Quick Links section of the home page of our web site

Grades for quarter 4 and the end of the year will be posted on June 22.  The plans for the in-person outdoor graduation ceremony are being finalized.

For those of you who have children who will have to attend summer school or complete credit recovery this summer, these programs, which will be online, will start on June 29 and run through August 7 (with no classes on July 3).  We send more information to families as soon as we have it.

The summer reading assignment was also emailed to all families last week and will be posted to our web site by the end of this week.  Students who are taking AP classes next year should also check with their teachers to see whether they have a summer assignment.  These assignments will also be posted to the home page of our web site soon.

Seniors received an email asking them to let us know if they plan to participate in our in-person outdoor graduation ceremony on July 7 (rain date July 8).  Once we know how many seniors plan to participate, we will be able to finals our plans and share them with you.  The survey is open until midnight tonight.

I wish you all a healthy and happy summer break.  Never have I been more sincere when I say, "I hope to see you all again soon."
