Dear SPS Families and Staff:

Thank you to the thousands of parents who took time to attend parent-teacher conferences this week.  Participating in parent-teacher conferences is critical to maintaining a strong school-home partnership to support your child’s academic and social-emotional growth. I’d also like to thank our classroom teachers and teacher specialists who worked hard to prepare materials for these conferences so parents can better understand how their children are doing in school.

The next parent-teacher conferences will be February 18-20, 2026.

PSAT is Thursday, October 23

All SPS students in grades 10 and 11 will take the PSAT in school next Thursday, October 23. Students in grades 10 and 11 should report to school on time to ensure a prompt start to testing.

There will be a 4-hour delay for students in grades 9 and 12. Students in grades 9 and 12 should not report to school until 11:25 am. High school buses will make two runs on Thursday morning to accommodate both start times.
