COVID-19 Dashboard
Stamford Public Schools (SPS) is committed to providing transparent, accurate and timely information regarding cases of COVID-19 in our district. When SPS receives notification of a positive case, the Stamford Department of Health (DOH) will conduct contact tracing. Families and/or staff members who were in close contact will be notified of the need to quarantine or self-isolate.

Reopening Core Committee
General Information
The Reopening CORE Committee was formed in March 2020 to bring together a representative group of individuals to ensure the safe reopening of Stamford Public Schools (SPS) amidst the COVID-19 Health Pandemic. The CORE Committee comprises medical and subject area experts, educators, educational and community leaders, and parents. Together the committee members worked in collaboration with the SPS Superintendent to develop a COVID- 19 2020-21 reopening plan and to address the ongoing challenges that changes in circumstances nationally or locally pose.
Subcommittees were created in the following areas:

- Transportation
- Health and Safety
- Social Emotional supports
- Food Service
- Child care
- Technology
Each subcommittee meets to address the unique needs of their respective areas and reports back to the CORE Committee.
