A Message From Our Principal

Well it looks like the summer weather is here!  Our rainy spring did postpone our third graders trip to the zoo this past week.  Our third grade will be going to the zoo this Tuesday, and while the weather looks hot, it looks like it will not be raining.

This past week our entire school community enjoyed our school-wide BBQ.  Outside on the field, we enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers with corn and watermelon.  It was fun to eat outside together and the food was delicious.  On Thursday evening Mr. Bieder hosted our second Authors and Artists event.

This evening was a wonderful showcase of our students' and parents' talents. From comic books and dance to Lego movies and paintings, the evening was filled with wonderful examples of students' written pieces serving as the inspiration for other art forms.  On Friday morning, our staff had the opportunity to show appreciation for our PTO by providing a delicious breakfast for all of our volunteers.  Thank you to all of our parents for supporting their children and our school.

This week we are looking forward to our Flag Day celebration.  On Wednesday morning at 9:30 the entire school will be on the field celebrating Flag Day as well as attendance awards and our Golden Paw winners.  The weather looks good for Wednesday so this should be a fun event.  Please make sure your child wears red, white and blue and brings a blanket or a towel to sit on.

Mrs. Beldotti
